This handsome painted chest from Mongolia dates from the 1800s and is painted in red and black lacquer with flowers and butterflies in antique gold. It has curved lift-up top in black, with flat storage across the entire top level. The red front panel doors open revealing one large shelf for storage with a height of 15". The three small drawers each pull out, all with original hardware. This chest has many possible uses, but would make great bar with glasses stored under the top on the long level panel and then drinks and set ups, any size bottles behind the doors, with napkins and snacks available in the small drawers.

Antique Tibetan Scholar's table dates from late 1700's, early 1800's and is hand carved and painted with deep burgundys, reds, browns, and yellow. The top surface is a rich dark patina in a myriad of tones, reflecting the many years of use. It is perfect by a chair as a resting place, without another table with legs. The carvings are deep and majestic.
