One of the most versatile pieces of the French furniture is the wine tasting table "table vendage". These tables are used in the chais, the building were the wine is made. When a buyer arrives the table removed from side of the room, when it takes up very small space, moved to the center, flipped up, and... wola, enjoy some wine.
This makes a wonderful dining or breakfast table, oval in shape and could seat 6 people comfortable with the room for 8 tucked in. The table is full of charm, used area last 100 years a mere, with interesting grain and knots full of character. It has a "V" support attached to the trestle legs.
